Coaches like progress of offensive line

The offensive line rebounded from a sluggish effort in Saturday's scrimmage for a solid practice on Monday, leaving coaches and players in an upbeat mood as they began the two week countdown to the Florida State game.

"We are getting pretty decent," line Coach Mario Cristobal said

"Tyrone Byrd getting dinged up made us make a few adjustments," offensive coordinator Rich Olson said. "It has forced us to create depth. I'm happy with how it is coming together. We will be fine."

With Byrd still nursing a sore knee, Chris Rutledge continued working with the first team on Monday. The last time Rutledge received significant playing time was in last year's Temple game, where he was beaten for a pair of quick sacks. Rutledge says he is a different player now and will be ready if he is needed against the Seminoles.
