Rucker looking for more Big Ten offers
The state of Michigan has a plethora of excellent football players this year. However, none may be as fast as Chris Rucker of Detroit Country Day High School. With 2 Big ten offers already on the table, Rucker is hoping to earn a few more with a strong senior year. SpartanMag.com has the latest on this rising class of 2007 recruit.
Chris Rucker of Detroit Country Day High School has been flying under the radar of many recruiting analysts, SpartanMag.com included. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound athlete is one of the few prospects with multiple Big Ten offers who is not a three-star recruit.
Rucker plays wide receiver and safety for Detroit Country Day, he also returns punts and kicks.
One of the big reasons why Rucker is a player that so many Big Ten teams are recruiting is his speed. He has offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Iowas, Purdue, Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Michigan.
Rucker stated that those teams along with Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and Northwestern are also recruiting him.
