PM Insider: Moving into a starting role

The Seminole football team cleared another major hurdle on their way to the 2006 season. Already in the books are mat drills, spring practice, the summer workout program, and after Wednesday, two-a-day practices. Three single practices this week and regular pre-game practices next week is all that is left on the calendar before the September 4th Miami game.




With two-a-days and all the major pre-season hurdles now behind them, there were a lot of smiles coming off the practice field Wednesday evening.



"It was a hard earned effort," cornerback Tony Carter said. "We came out without any major injuries, the team is looking good, up spirited and we got through it. We worked hard."
