Jackson comes back with a vengeance

Xzavie Jackson had a fantastic view of Missouri's season-opening 47-7 win over the Murray State Racers. But unlike the other 51-thousand plus fans in attendance, Jackson was not too happy with his seat.

"Man, I wished I could be out there helping my team out," Jackson said.

Jackson was in the stands for the first game of the year due to a suspension handed down by head coach Gary Pinkel for undisclosed reasons. With no more than 12 remaining games guaranteed in his college career, Jackson had just knocked one off that number.

Talk about making up for lost time. In the two games since rejoining the team, Jackson has two sacks among his six tackles, two quarterback hurries and three passes broken up. He has been all over the field.
