That New Stadium Smell

Stanford and WSU have met on the football field at Martin Stadium in Pullman the last two years and both times, the Cardinal came out on top by a combined nine points. Last year, the Cardinal ran for 218 yards on the Cougar defense and quarterback Trent Edwards was the main culprit - accounting for 92 of those yards on designed quarterback draws or scrambles while escaping defensive pressure. Wazzu head coach Bill Doba offers no excuses for the boatload or, in this case, yachtload, of yardage.



"He killed us," says Doba plain and simple.
