Bruins let one slip away

The Bruins let one get away in Husky Stadium falling to Washington 29-19. UCLA squandered several opportunities to blow the game out, but couldn't capitalize and in the end that was their undoing.


Looking quite fancy in their new road uniforms UCLA in the first quarter looked like a team that could compete for the conference championship.


Unfortunately this was not to last because this day would belong to senior quarterback Isaiah Stanback who threw for a career high three touchdowns and had 248 of Washington's 249 total yards.
