2008 standout receives Tide offer

One of the benefits of filling the majority of your recruiting class before the senior class has actually begun is that a college staff is able to turn their attention a little bit earlier to the juniors and get an early jump. One of the top priorities for any staff is athletes. Big, fast, kids who can run and possibly project at numerous positions.

One of the top prospects that fits that bill in the 2008 class is Gadsden City High School linebacker/ defensive end Jerrell Harris and the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder picked up his first offer Thursday morning when he got a call from the Alabama staff.
