November 1, 2006 Coach's Corner: Aron White

Coaches see their players everyday on the practice fields, weight room, on film over the weekends, and then live on Friday nights. What better way to learn more about a prospect than from the coach? Learn about the future Dawg Aron White inside Coach's Corner. has a weekly feature called Coach's Corner. We will speak weekly with a head coach that coaches a prospect that sits on the University of Georgia commitment list.

We will ask him how his player is producing this year, how far he has come from last season, what type of player he is, what the Bulldog Nation can expect in the future and more.

The Coach featured in the Coach's Corner this week is A.J. Ofodile of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia (Mo.). Coach Ofodile knows future Bulldog Aron White very well and he answers questions about White right here.

Chad Simmons: Tell us how Aron has improved from last season to now.

Coach Ofodile: "The biggest thing with Aron is his physical maturity. He is probably one of the smartest players I have ever coached. He has great instincts, he made plays, and after being in the weight room this past year, he has really improved."

"He has grown physically and his confidence has grown as well. With his physical growth, he is now a guy that can dominate at the point of attack as a tight end or receiver and he has been a major force for us on the defensive side of the ball too."
