Holliday gets another from N.C.
Ace recruiter John "Doc" Holliday continued his string of impressive grabs from his former stomping grounds, nabbing three-star Oakboro (N.C.) West Stanley linebacker/athlete Quantavius Sturdivant.
"I picked Florida," Sturdivant said. "It's just a great place to be. It's a great environment, a great place to play football and get an education and the coaches are real cool."
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Sturdivant picked Florida over the in-state North Carolina Tar Heels and added that his relationship with Holliday, combined with the coaching change at UNC, led him to select the Gators.
