Cousins getting looks

UConn coach Randy Edsall said a couple weeks ago the Huskies are looking to sign two quarterbacks in their 2007 recruiting class.

One has already committed in Washington (Pa.) Trinity's Cody Endres, whose team lost in the first round of the playoffs to Hopewell last week. The newest name to pop onto UConn's radar is Holland (Mich.) Christian's Kirk Cousins, a 6-foot-2 prospect who finished the season with 2,100 passing yards and 28 touchdowns.

Western Michigan and Northern Illinois have offered. UConn, Colorado, Toledo and others have looked at tape and are showing more interest.
