Bruins get back on track 25-7

UCLA returned to the winning column after a drought of four weeks. It wasn't pretty, but any W is prettier than the best played loss and better yet, this victory keeps UCLA's bowl hopes alive, as the Bruins cooled down the red hot Oregon State Beavers 25-7.

Coach Karl Dorrell said during last week's Monday press conference that he wanted to the Bruin defense to go back doing the things that made them successful and that is exactly what they did.

The Bruin D resembled the one that was the talk of nation before falling apart during the last seconds of the Notre Dame game three weeks ago then were torched in subsequent weeks by Washington State and Cal.
