Reier's Top 10 Tiders

The following is a list of Top 10 Tiders for Week 10 of the 2006 football season. Each Wednesday, BOL senior writer Travis Reier lists his top 10 Tide performers. In effect, the list serves as a week-to-week ranking of Alabama's most valuable players.

1. DJ Hall Last Week: 1
Hall pulled in 10 passes for 125 yards in the loss to Mississippi State. Extended his single-season mark for 100-yard receiving games to six and his career mark to nine. Along with fellow wide receiver Keith Brown, Hall says he will return for his senior season in 2007. With 857 receiving yards, Hall is still on pace to surpass David Palmer's single-season mark of 1,000 yards.

2. Antoine Caldwell Last Week: 2
Caldwell has played 619 of a possible 652 snaps (94.9 percent) on offense this season and has graded out at 90 percent or better in all 10 games. Was flagged for illegal contact after absorbing blows to the head from MSU defensive linemen.

Five tackles and a sack against MSU. Also recorded a quarterback hurry. Castille's eight total takeaways are the most in the league this season.

8. Le'Ron McClain Last Week: 8
The senior picked up 15 yards on his lone carry against MSU. The run was the Tide's longest of the game. Caught one pass for 13 yards in the loss. McClain is UA's third-leading receiver with 16 catches for 142 yards (8.9 average) and three touchdowns.

9. Will Oakley Last Week: Fringe
