KU ready for Florida

Kansas (4-1; 0-0) avoided a potentially devastating loss on Friday night. Despite beating Ball State (2-2; 0-0) by 18-points, the No. 12 ranked Jayhawks struggled for most of the night and couldn't get anything going on the offensive end of the court. Minutes after winning their third straight game, Bill Self said that his squad has a chance to rebound against the No. 1 ranked Florida Gators on Saturday night at 10:00 CST.

It clearly wasn't the type of performance that Self was hoping to see from his young but talented Hawks. As a team, they connected on just 40 percent of their field goals, 43 percent of their shots from behind the arc and hit just 13-of-21 free throws.
