Huskers will face Auburn in 2007 Cotton Bowl
In the last two years Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan's team has faced off against some of college football's elite programs in Michigan, USC, Texas and Oklahoma.
On Sunday, the Huskers learned that they will face off against another team that competes year in and year out for the national championship.
No. 23 ranked Nebraska (9-4) will take on No. 9 ranked Auburn (10-2) in the 2007 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas on Jan. 1. The Tigers will be the fourth opponent ranked inside the top 10 the Huskers have faced this season.
The AT&T Cotton Bowl is set for a 10:40 a.m. kickoff on Jan. 1 and the game will be seen on FOX.
