Steady McClure gains from new perspective

Even with Saturday night's impressive second half rally that led to a 61-52 win over Georgetown, Duke hasn't always been a picture of efficiency this season, particularly on the offensive end.

Even with the early season struggles on offense though, the Blue Devils have found ways to win, posting a 7-1 record through eight games thanks in large part to suffocating defense.

Duke might not be 7-1 without the leadership and play of sophomore David McClure, who has been arguably one of the two steadiest players on the team, along with junior DeMarcus Nelson.
