Hawk heading to state finals

At a time of year where most high school football players have completed their seasons a select few have more work to do. Texas Tech commitment Rashad Hawk and Copperas Cove are preparing for their final game of the year and it's for the state championship.

Winning has become the norm for Hawk (6-foot-3, 180-pounds) and Copperas Cove and he's been an intricate part of his team's success, especially with a 84-yard performance on five receptions last weekend against the Aledo Bearcats in the semifinals.

After verbally committing to the Red Raiders back in June, recruiting has been one less thing that Hawk has had to think about.
