Bryant's mother plays key role in his coming back

During his junior season, Dorien Bryant pretty much thought he was headed to the NFL.

The wide receiver was fairly convinced that it would be in his best interest to bypass his senior season and make himself available for the April NFL Draft.

"There were times where I was pretty much sure that I was going to go when the season was over," he said. "It's a lifelong dream to play in the NFL and is right there."

During the season, Bryant talked about leaving a year early with Coach Joe Tiller.
