UA must rebound from consecutive struggles

Arizona has put together back to back uninspired performances now, losing on the road 77-73 to Washington State and beating Oregon State at home in a very unimpressive manner, by the score of 83-72.

The Wildcats haven't played well in two games and that's a steak that the UA can't afford to continue. A similar performance in four of the team's next five games - specifically contests against Oregon, at USC, at UCLA and North Carolina - will almost certainly result in a UA loss.

Not that there's a reason to be concerned right now if you're an Arizona fan, but how the Wildcats perform over the next two weeks will have serious Pac-10 and national implications. That's why it's so important for the UA to start playing much better basketball than it has for the past 85 minutes of game time.

It starts Sunday against Oregon and the Wildcats could definitely use an improved performance from Ivan Radenovic. In his last three games, Radenovic has totaled 14 turnovers. The Wildcats definitely can't have its center continue to give teams an average of 4.7 extra possessions a game.
