Searels address UGA media
When Neil Callaway left the offensive line post at the University of Georgia for the head-coaching job at UAB, many people were wondering who would take his place. The answer was LSU offensive line coach Stacy Searels, who played with defensive line coach Rodney Garner at Auburn and Callaway coached both men, there.
Georgia head coach Mark Richt contacted coach Searels following about the job following the LSU win over Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl and brought him to Athens for an interview. Coach Searels officially signed his contract on Thursday and on Friday, he addressed the media for the first time as Georgia's offensive line coach.
