Lett doesn't want to leave Tuscaloosa

Rivals250 defensive back Chris Lett was a major steal early in the recruiting process when the Pensacola standout chose Alabama. Lett, 6-foot-2, 195-pounds, held firm to his commitment during the Alabama coaching search and this weekend was in Tuscaloosa on a visit that solidified his early pledge.

"I had a blast this weekend. I don't think it could have gone any better. I didn't want to come home because it felt like I was already part of the team and already enrolled in school. It was great," Lett said. "I met the whole staff and talked to Coach Saban a few times. He told me that he loved to use big corners and after watching my film he thinks I'll fit in fine for what they are going to do. He's a good guy and was easy to talk to. We bonded right away. He has a plan for Alabama football and it's exciting to hear and easy to see what he is going to do. I also talked to Coach (Kirby) Smart and went over coverages and what kind of defense they are going to run and how I'll fit into it.
