Crawford to the point

A huge 60-35 first half deficit was too much for Northfield Mount
Hermon to overcome yesterday against Hargrave Military Academy and the Virginia
prep school took home a 99-82 victory yesterday at the Spalding HoopHall Classic
in Springfield, Massachusetts. Among the biggest contributors for Hargrave
was Indiana signee Jordan Crawford. The 6-foot-4 guard
contributed 15 points and eight assists.

Hargrave nearly let the 25 point lead slip away. Northfield Mount
Hermon at one point had it down to 79-75 with 6:35 remaining.

The school is from Massachusetts and so it had more fans in the building
yesterday. Mount Hermon also features at least half dozen Division I signees or prospects including Notre Dame bound Tyrone Nash (14 points), two UMass signees in twins Terrell and Jerrell Williams and unsigned Gary Correia
who led all scorers with 19 points.
