5-star Wilson does a little recruiting of his own

Normally when a prospect is committed to another program, it takes an official visit to turn him. In the case of Ponte Vedra (Fla.) Nease offensive lineman James Wilson, the opposite occurred - he actually switched his commitment from Southern Cal to Florida before his weekend official visit to Gainesville. That left only some recruiting of his own on the agenda.

With Wilson already in the bag, the coaching staff didn't have to make a sales pitch, rather they talked about what is going to be expected of him.

"They're excited knowing what I can do. Once I sign they want me to get in the workout and play book. If I can do that I think I have a legitimate chance at starting at left guard."
