Tupou back from Cal

Although the recruiting season is only weeks away from coming to a close, Sacramento (Calif.) Grant three-star defensive lineman Christian Tupou still has a lot of decisions to make before anything is said and done. The massive athlete just returned from a trip to Berkeley this weekend and is set to travel to the East Coast next week to check out a fifth and final school.

As Territory's documented in Another big weekend ahead for Cal, the Bears had five visitors on campus this weekend. One of the visitors, Sam DeMartinis, had already given the Bears a verbal commitment. Another visitor was Pacific Grove (Calif.) fullback John Tyndall, who promptly committed to Cal after being offered.

For Tupou - who Bear Territory considers the premier 2007 defensive lineman in Northern California this past season - the 6-foot-3, 265-pound bruiser has now visited four schools, with Cal being the latest.
