Junior defensive tackle gets Irish attention

Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis is back on the recruiting trail and he's looking to make an impact in his home state. This week he spent time in New Jersey, a trip that included a visit to Elizabeth High School to check in on junior defensive tackle Hafis Williams.

Williams, a 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive tackle, has drawn interest from the Irish, Penn State, Virginia and several others. A member of the Virginia coaching staff is expected at the high school on Friday.
