Oklahoma DE impressed with Louisville
The University of Louisville's coaching staff continues to work hard on the recruiting trail, and they hosted a couple of talented prospects this weekend. One player on the visit was 6-foot-5, 220-pound defensive end David Anderson.
Named a 5A All-Stater on Oklahoma after this past season, Anderson is an athletic end who also plays basketball for MacArthur H.S.
After visiting Tulsa in December and Iowa State last weekend, Anderson got the opportunity to visit Big East champion Louisville this weekend. "It was great; it's a nice place," Anderson told Cardinalsports.com.
"I really like the field. I liked to go stand on the middle of the field on the Cardinal. I could just look up and feel the atmosphere when I was out there," he added.
Anderson, who was hosted on his visit by Cardinal defensive lineman Maurice Mitchell, said the Cardinals have offered him a full scholarship and would love to have him commit to sign with them on signing day.
"They told me I could talk it over with my mother," he said. "Once I get home, I'm going to talk it over with my mother and decide what I'm going to do.
"Right now they are my favorite," he admitted. Anderson is scheduled to take a visit to Kansas State next weekend.
