Cyclones get two from JUCO Top 100

Rivals.com has released its final Top 100 junior college prospects for 2007 and Iowa State has a pair of commitments - one signed and one verbal - included in the first 60 standouts on the list. The Cyclones are still involved at some level with another top 20 talent and there's even a former ISU player on the list as well.

The jewel of Iowa State's recruiting class so far, at least when it comes to star ratings and national rankings, is Torrance (Cal.) El Camino College running back Jamicah Bass, better known as "J.J." The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Bass is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and ranked as the no. 15 JUCO player in the country. He originally committed to ISU in the fall and then switched his verbal to Oregon State after Dan McCarney's resignation. Eventually, the new Cyclone coaching staff was able to convince Bass that ISU was the best place for him after all.
