A&M faces Iowa State

No. 8 Texas A&M struggled early against an improving Oklahoma team to knock off the thoughts of its first conference loss in the previous game on the road at Texas Tech. Now A&M has another game at the friendly confines of Reed Arena against stammering Iowa State before heading to Lawrence for a first place showdown with Kansas.

A&M (17-3, 5-1 Big 12) has four of its next seven games on the road, proving that this stretch could be the most important for A&M's tournament resume. Iowa State (11-9, 2-4) is struggling as it has dropped four consecutive games after starting off 2-0 in the Big 12.

The Aggies proved to get out of their funk against Oklahoma in assists and turnovers as they got back to doing things in the way that most observers have come to expect from the Aggies by creating 18 assists while committing just seven turnovers..

Against Iowa State the Aggies will be trying to establish that A&M brand of basketball once again and prove that the Oklahoma game wasn't just a fluke. A&M needs to prove that they are completely back to playing their best basketball, which would send a message to the rest of the Big 12 conference and the nation.
