Simmons snags Crawford from Memphis

When Texas Tech Director of Quality Control Dennis Simmons used his Memphis roots to gain a commitment from Cordova (TN) athlete Jocques Crawford last year, Tech fans were elated. Talk of a Tennessee pipeline started flying around and only increased when Tech offered Memphis wide receiver Roderick Davis in the spring and gained an early, albeit short lived, pledge from fellow Tennessee product Lagrone Sheilds in the fall.

To the delight of Tech fans everywhere, Simmons once again utilized his connections in the Volunteer State to snag another talented prospect, running back Aaron Crawford. That's right, you read that correctly, Crawford, as in Jocques Crawford's brother.
