Peach State receiver still has a leader
One of the biggest play-makers in Georgia next fall will be Tavarres King. King is a wide receiver and kick returner that has the speed and skills to make big play after big play. Between his physical skills and his knowledge of the game, he has become one of the top recruits in the Peach State. Many offers are on the table already, but one school has taken the lead.
"Vanderbilt is the most recent school to offer me," said King. "They offered me back in December and I now have five total offers. Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and Oklahoma have also offered."
Five offers are already in the great hands of King, but he names one of those schools as his leader.
"Georgia is on top," he said. "They are still up there high on my list. I went to a lot of games there this year and it just feels like home. I like them a lot."
The Dawgs have sent coaches to Habersham Central a couple times late in January.
"I know Coach John Eason (wide receiver coach) and Coach John Jancek (recruiting coach) came by a couple weeks ago and then I know Coach Jancek came back the week after that. It is nice to see them coming by my school showing interest in me. I like the coaching staff at Georgia."
