AU needs new starters, better play at LB

With two starters gone and another out of school until June, Auburn linebackers coach James Willis faces a rebuilding job when spring practice gets underway Tuesday morning.

But while finding three starters and building a new depth chart will be a significant objective, Willis wants his group focused on more important goals.

"Going back and looking at film, we have to be better tacklers," said Willis. "We need to understand the defense better as far as formations and be better total football players. We have to work on our run fits as far as our alignments.
