Warren set to visit KU
It appears the Kansas Jayhawks have emerged as the team to beat for Willie Warren, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound shooting guard from North Crowley High School in Fort Worth, Texas. According to the No. 22 ranked player in the class of 2008, KU currently stands atop his list, but a school from the SEC isn't far behind. Warren just informed Jayhawk Slant that he'll be in Lawrence this weekend for an unofficial visit.
Warren, the No. 4 ranked shooting guard in the class of 2008, has established himself as one of the truly elite players in the class. While the five-star prospect is still in the early stages of his recruitment, Warren is receiving a high amount of interest from the likes of Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and others.
