Taylor on upswing heading into BTT
MADISON, Wis. - Analyzing the last ten days can give a fairly accurate description of Kammron Taylor's career at the University of Wisconsin.
It has gone from dismal to delightful in a blink of an eye.
Taylor had an opportunity to give UW the lead with under a minute left to play on the road against No. 1 Ohio State two Sundays ago, but the Badger point guard missed the front end on a one-and-one, as Wisconsin eventually lost 49-48. In 30 minutes of play, Taylor was just 4-for-12 from the floor, scoring only 10 points.
Fast-forward six days of scrutiny and discussion, as Taylor prepared to play his final game at the Kohl Center. The script could not have been written better for the Badger who has seen his share of highs and lows in his four years wearing Cardinal and White, as Taylor sunk a 3-pointer with 3.9 seconds remaining to give UW a 52-50 lead over Michigan State, and a message to all his critics: I can produce in the clutch.
It was a note the coaches and media took notice of, as Taylor was named a Big Ten Second Team All-Conference selection Tuesday morning.
