BTT could be Badgers' Memory Lane
MADISON, Wis. - Today, the 11 Big Ten Conference teams arrive in Chicago with the goal of being the last team standing Sunday afternoon.
Why only one team? Because it's the Big Ten Tournament, which marks the beginning of March Madness for folks in the Midwest and the countless number of conference alums around the country and beyond.
Without a win Sunday, it seems at least seeds eight through 11 will not be invited to the Big Dance, while the other higher seven seeds are either looking to secure an NCAA Tournament berth or jockeying for better seeding come Selection Sunday.
The Wisconsin Badgers, currently ranked 3rd in the country, are seeking the latter and
Oh yeah, a little payback, not to mention a tournament championship.
"It's one of those things that we didn't take care of the Big Ten Conference like we wanted to so this is another chance for us to go in and win the Big Ten Tournament," said senior forward and Big Ten Player of the Year Alando Tucker. "And that's what's on our mind. We have no doubt in our mind that we're going to go here and win the tournament and that's what we're planning on doing."
