The Razorback Recruiting Roundup is a weekly look at the latest news with Hog recruiting. Find out which Arkansas prospects have picked up scholarship offers in the last few days, find out which new out-of-state prospects Arkansas is recruiting and a whole lot more.

  • 2006 Arkansas signee Allen Gardner is trying to get into Tyler (Texas) Community College, but he will struggle with grades because he has bounced around in the junior college ranks and will unlikely have the courses he needs to be eligible for 2008 at an SEC school.

  • Some new football recruit names are Frostproof (Fla.) running back Carlton Thomas. Recruiting Analyst Otis Kirk describes him as being a mix of former Razorback Fred Talley and former NFL star Barry Sanders - both of whom played under coach Houston Nutt. Tallahassee (Fla.) FAMU standout Richard Watson, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, has been offered by Ohio State, Alabama, Arkansas and Clemson. Arkansas has targeted FAMU prospects in the past. A third new running back the Hogs are recruiting, according to Kirk, is Devin Thomas, 5-foot-10, 185 pounds, who is out of San Antonio (Texas) Madison High School. He reports scholarship offers from Duke and Texas A&M.
