Patrick Patterson has accomplished all he can at the high school level as he and O.J. Mayo helped lead Huntington (W.V.) to an unprecedented third straight state title this past weekend. Next up for Patterson is taking his talents to college. Now all he has to do is pick one.

Florida, Duke, Kentucky, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia are the six schools in the running for Patterson, the second-best power forward and No. 15 player overall in the 2007 class according to Rivals.com.

Here's how dominant Huntington was in the state Class AAA playoffs: The Highlanders defeated Fairmont, 103-39, in the first round. Then they downed Bridgeport, 98-59, to reach the final. The title game was not much of a contest. Huntington defeated South Charleston, 103-61. Patterson had 14 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks in the championship.
