Rodriguez not impressed with latest practice

MORGANTOWN -- Rich Rodriguez was noticeably angry during his football team's practice inside Milan Puskar Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

Maybe mad is an understatement.

The seventh-year head coach was burning foot steps into the turf, and when he came inside the weight room for his post-practice interview, he was melting right threw his little plastic seat.

"Our defense could walk off the field and it would take us more than 10 plays to score," Rodriguez said. "That's what I think right now about our offense.

"We can't block, we can't throw, we can't catch, (and) we can't run. Other than that it's alright."

Anything else?

"I'm not sure the defense was any better," he added. "Right now we're not a very good football team. They better have a great summer because we're not ready to win any games."
