All-American LBs feeling good after G-Day

A lot of recruits were in Athens on Saturday for G-Day and one of the biggest had to be Nigel Bradham. Bradham traveled up to Georgia for the second time in 2007 and he left feeling good about the Dawgs. He talked to us about his visit to UGA, his time with Mark Richt, his thoughts on the linebacker play, and more right here.

"I am feeling very good about Georgia right now," said Bradham as he exited the city of Athens. "It was a great day for me at Georgia today. I had a real good time over there again. Everything went real well."

The day began with Georgia linebacker's coach John Jancek. Bradham spent a lot of time with Coach Jancek Saturday morning.

"I was around him quite a bit today and Coach Willie Martinez was there too. I talked with both of them, but I talked more with Coach Jancek."

"He talked to me about Georgia's linebackers and how they could use me there. He told me that Georgia needs me and that he needs me because he knows I could make a big impact at Georgia."

"We had a real good talk and I like him a lot. We text each other a lot, but I like talking to him in person too. He is a great coach and a real cool guy."

This 6-foot-2, 220-pound All-American linebacker had toured the campus, learned about Georgia's academics, and met a lot of the coaches, so he was looking for something else this time around.

"I wanted to see some hitting," he said. "That is all we do down at Wakulla, so I wanted to see Georgia do that up here."

Did he see what he was looking for?

"I saw a lot of hitting out there," Bradham said. "I saw it from different positions and one of them was linebacker. Hitting is what I like and Georgia does that. The game is faster up here, but they still hit like I like to."

One linebacker stood out to this explosive Florida backer in Athens.

"Darius Dewberry looked good - real goo to me. That kid can just play. I watched him a lot out there and he really showed me a lot."
