Las Vegas Evaluations: Part II

Now that the Las Vegas Easter Classic is over, it is time to reflect on the handful of Arizona recruits that we had the opportunity to see. Some may be higher on Arizona's priority list than others, but each player is somebody that Arizona is considering or impressed us enough to warrant a mention.

Here's part two of our evaluations.

  • Klay Thompson seemed a bit lost at times on the SoCal All-Stars, but a lot of players would be. With a team consisting of Demetrius Walker, Jennings, Malik Story and Troy Gillenwater, Thompson never really had to score and did not see the ball enough to have the opportunity to do so.

    However, when he did get the opportunity, he succeeded. In one game he put up 15 points and showed a nice ability of getting into the lane and making the right decision. He reminds us a bit of Brendon Lavender in that he never forces the issue and does not need to score to be effective.
