DeBoskie making the rounds
Many times when a player gets the accolades that Covaughn DeBoskie (6-0, 192, 4.48) from Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton has received they rest upon their laurels and wait for their senior season to begin. Not DeBoskie, he has participated in every combine and camp possible and he has been stellar in each and every one of them.
One trait that is a constant with successful football players is the competitive spirit and DeBoskie definitely has that fire.
It would have been easy for DeBoskie to sit out the rest of the camp circuit after winning the NIKE Camp running back MVP award. His stock was already hot and his camp performances only became hotter.
You have to love DeBoskie's competitive fire. He's one of those special athletes who are not only very athletic but he's an overachiever as well. There are plenty of D-I colleges who have thrown their hat into the ring in hopes of landing the talented running back from the Grand Canyon State.
DeBoskie currently has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Washington State, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Florida, Mississippi State, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, Texas Christian and Navy.
DeBoskie has a very busy summer planned as he is planning on taking unofficial visits to several schools.
"I still think I'm visiting Michigan, Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina and Florida," DeBoskie said. "After I go to those schools, I will have a more accurate picture about the schools I like.
"I have only been to three schools so after I visit the other schools, the picture will become clearer."
