UGASports TV: Watch King choose the Dawgs

The Bulldogs picked up a huge commitment Friday in Mt. Airy (Ga.) - Habersham Central wide receiver Tavsrres King. King had an impressive offer list, but it came down to Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Georgia Tech. King was dressed in purple behind the podium and he pulled out a Gator hat first before throwing it to the ground and proudly placing the Georgia Bulldog hat on his head. Watch this big commitment take place on UGASports TV.

The King press conference was a special event for many people. A school board representative talked about King and how he represents Mt. Airy, the principal of Habersham Central speaks on what "TK" means to their school, and Coach Cathcart knows it is a special day for King and he breaks down to tears before giving way for King to make his decision.

That all happened in about 3-4 minutes before King took the stage. King stepped behind the podium and thanked God, his family, his coaches, his teammates, and he really showed the kind of person Georgia is getting behind the football pads.

King quickly moved through his speech very quickly and got to the moment everyone there was waiting for. He said, "I am committing to…" before pulling out a blue Florida Gator hat, but before putting it on, he threw it to the side and happily put on a white Georgia Bulldog cap saying he is a Bulldog.

When that happened, the crowd let him know they were happy with his decision with a big applause and some barks for UGA. Before King stepped away, he said, "Go Raiders and Go Dawgs."

This is something you don't want to miss, so check out King tossing the Gator hat aside and letting everyone know that he is staying home to play at the University of Georgia.
