ISU target Daniels has great spring

While many states do not play high school spring football games, the state of Florida celebrates its spring games with almost as much intensity the regular season. Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln High School is one of the most prominent schools in the state and played its spring game Saturday. Quarterback B.J. Daniels served notice he was ready to go for the fall.

Because of the importance of spring football in Florida, Daniels has had to put recruiting on the back burner. That does not mean college coaches have stopped showing interest, however, and he currently boasts offers from West Virginia, Iowa State, Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, UCF and USF. His offer from Iowa State was one of his first.
