Waggner will return to LSU

A foot injury hampered his first visit, so one of the state's top cornerback prospects is set to make another LSU camp visit in July.

Clinton High School product Prentiss Waggner is a four-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-2, 178-pound Waggner is rated as the 16th-best cornerback in the country and already has offers on the table from Auburn, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Southern Mississippi and Louisiana Tech.

Coming off of a spectacular junior season that saw him pick off 16 passes with 14 more pass break-ups and 70 tackles, Waggner said that he enjoyed his time at the LSU camp last week.
