Head Coach Tim Harris speaks his mind

Tim Harris, Head Coach at Booker T. Washington in Miami, is spending his fourth straight year as a counselor at the Rutgers Camp. Some of the standout players who accompanied Harris to this year's camp are DB Brandon Harris and WR Davon Johnson, who have already received Rutgers offers, plus Miami-bound WR Thearon Collier and impressive quarterback QB Sancho McDonald. Coach Harris shared his thoughts on the camp and Rutgers.

"I like it," said Coach Harris. "I like what Coach Schiano has done here at Rutgers. I want our kids to get an opportunity to come up here and see it first hand. I want them to see that if you leave home, it's still a great place. I want them to see that they can be taken care of and be in a position to graduate from college, and if you're blessed to move on from that point, there's an opportunity here at Rutgers."

Harris is no stranger to talent. Booker T. Washington accumulates a stockpile of quality players year in and year out. He talked about what it's like to coach a team with such a depth of talent.
