Happy Holiday, Jrue a Bruin

The UCLA Bruins landed arguably the most talented player for the class of 2008 when five-star guard Jrue Holiday (6-3, 200) from North Hollywood (Calif.) Campbell Hall said yes to Ben Howland earlier today. Holiday is the icing on a very tasty recruiting cake for the class of 2008.

"My last two schools were UCLA and Washington," Holiday said. "I couldn't go wrong with either school, but it came down to I wanted to play close to home.

"I know all the other recruits who are coming to UCLA and it is just a better fit," Holiday said. "I've known Jerime Anderson since the sixth grade and have been playing against him since then.
