25 Tigers to watch: #19 William Moore
The Missouri Tigers open camp on August 4th, which is now just 19 days away. Over the next 25 days, PowerMizzou.com is counting down the 25 players on the roster who will be most influential in determining just how good the Tigers are this season. To be clear, this is not a list of the 25 best players on the roster. It is not a list of the players that will have the biggest seasons or put up the best numbers. In reverse order, we are counting down the 25 players who we think could have the most influence on the outcome of the 12 games on Missouri's 2007 schedule.
19. William Moore
Why he's on the list: Moore is the one guy on Missouri's defense who can change the game on any snap. He is perhaps the biggest hitter on the defense and will be one of Missouri's leaders because he plays with such high emotion. As noted before, Mizzou is replacing both starters at safety from a season ago. The safety position as a whole is as deep as any on defense and Moore is a major part of that. He has battled consistency at times over his career. But if he can harness the athleticism and the ability on a play to play basis, Willy Mo has a chance to be one of the Tigers' true breakout players in 2007.
