Murphy's plans for the fall are set

Alabama signee Kerry Murphy has been accepted to Hargrave Military Academy, according to Hargrave coach Robert Prunty.

"He was accepted here on Friday. I anticipate he'll be here when all the players report," Prunty said.

Murphy, a defensive tackle, was a four-star recruit from Hoover, Ala., who signed with the Crimson Tide over Miami. At 6-5, 315 pounds, his offers also included Auburn, Clemson and Ole Miss.

Efforts to reach Murphy were unsuccessful.

Prunty said his players are scheduled to report to the Chatham, Va., school on August 13.

"I've had a lot of calls from people wondering about Kerry Murphy," Prunty said. "I'm looking forward to seeing him on the field."
