Offense solid in morning practice
UCLA showed glimpses in the morning session of the kind of team they can be. Both sides of the ball had something to smile about. Probably most encouraging was the play by the offense. The offensive side of the made a big jump from yesterday's practice.
The offensive line, even without the presence of Shannon Tevaga, had perhaps their best day as a unit. That's not to say they dominated the defensive line, far from that, but there is progress being made.
When you think what the Bruins bring to the table defensively, especially inside with Brigham Harwell and a very lean and mean Kevin Brown, they are going to be a formidable force.
Going up against this defense in practice will only help this offense in the long run.
