Could Rankin explode this fall?

Louis Rankin has been showing strong skills at camp this month. He wore the gold jersey for 3 consecutive days, and Husky coach Tyrone Willingham has been quoted by the media saying that Rankin is looking even better that he did last season. Last season Rankin stayed healthy enough to play all 12 games at the tailback position.

He led the Huskies in rushing with 666 yards on 142 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per rush. He also led the team with 4 rushing touchdowns. He also helped the Huskies beat Washington State in the Apple Cup with two rushing touchdowns.
