Hoops: Another August visitor

Add another name from the class of 2008 to Michigan basketball's visitors list. This "sleeper," yet to be ranked by, earned offers from two schools following a solid summer and interest from several others, and now plans to make the rounds, starting Aug. 25 in Ann Arbor …


Carmel (Ind.) sniper Stuart Douglass (6-2, 180) became one to watch at the Michigan basketball camp this summer, impressing with his shooting ability and high basketball IQ. He displayed those same qualities on the AAU circuit playing with Indiana Elite Orange, including a game in front of Michigan head coach John Beilein he won't soon forget.

Michigan has been in frequent contact since. Douglass estimates he talks to the U-M coaches twice a week - "whenever I can" - having become enamored with the thought of playing for Beilein.
