First pickup games of 2007-08 school year

The 2007-08 Wildcats are all in town and started their first day of class on Monday. The beginning of a new semester also means almost daily pickup games, and the UA had all but one player in action.

The entire squad participated except for junior Mohamed Tangara, who was in class at the time of the games. In his place was ex-Wildcat Hassan Adams, who is still in town after participating in the Lute Olson All-Star Classic.

While the majority of the players in action certainly played hard, after a day filled with conditioning and classes, it was very clear that the players were fatigued. That led to a lot of turnovers, sloppy passes and short jump shots.

Due to the fatigue, it was tough to take too much away from the games. With that said, there were some standouts.

To start, sophomores Chase Budinger and Jordan Hill continue to display great chemistry on the court. To be more specific, Budinger knows how and where to get Hill the ball, who in turn usually throws it down.
